De Canon EOS 550D is een camera die zich werkelijk voor alles laat lenen. Deze camera laat dan ook zien dat gebruiksvriendelijkheid en hoogstaande kwaliteit wel degelijk hand in hand kunnen gaan. Met de Canon 550D kunt u prachtige films maken in Full HD. De bediening is volledig handmatig dus u hebt alle ruimte om te experimenteren met alle mogelijkheden die deze camera u biedt. Scherpte, diepte, belichting en beeldsnelheden, alles kunt u letterlijk naar uw hand zetten voor prachtige resultaten. De Canon EOS 550D bezit zelfs een 3,5mm stereo-aansluiting voor een externe microfoon, om ook het geluid in een hoge kwaliteit op te nemen.

CMOS sensor

De door Canon ontwikkelde 18 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor geeft iedere pixel een meer dan hoogstaande kwaliteit mee. U kunt hierdoor zelfs foto’s op posterformaat afdrukken zonder bang te hoeven te zijn voor kwaliteitsverlies. Voor ruis hoeft u ook niet bang te zien, de DIGIC 4 beeldprocessor en de sensor zorgen ervoor dat ruis geen invloed krijgt op uw foto’s. U kunt dus zonder problemen gebruik maken van de hoge ISO waarden die de 550D kan halen.

DIGIC 4

De DIGIC 4 beeldprocessor is sowieso verantwoordelijk voor prachtige vloeiende kleurgradaties. Ook levert deze beeldprocessor de zo noodzakelijke snelheid voor fotografen. De Canon EOS 550D haalt vrij gemakkelijk de opnamesnelheid van 3,7 beelden per seconde. En ook met filmen profiteert u hiervan. U kunt namelijk de snelheden zelf instellen!

LCD

De Canon EOS 550D is voorzien van een groot en helder 3” Clear View LCD-scherm. U kunt gedurende het filmen al direct de beelden controleren, via de Live View mode, en met de heldere weergave is dit een fluitje van een cent. Zo kunt u ook vanuit moeilijke hoeken het scherm goed bekijken.

Focus, Colour en Luminance

Het lichtmeet systeem iFCL (Focus, Colour en Luminance) meet over maar liefst 63 zones de scherpstelling, lichtintensiteit en kleur. Ook de informatie van het AF-systeem wordt hierbij gebruikt waarmee u tot zeer professionele films en foto’s als eindresultaat kunt komen.
